About B.U.R.T.Y

B.U.R.T.Y is the main character from Easton3D’s upcoming 5‑book franchise, featuring Burty and the Kincade family. The first ebook is released online and will be available directly from the website shortly.

Launching alongside the main Token Run is the Drag Race Add‑On - a full mechanical expansion that transforms your Token Run into a competitive two‑player race track. This is a complete racing system - engineered for smooth drops and fast runs. The majority of the token run and drag strip is STL - You don't need the topper, finish line stand or a full coloured token to play the full set up.

It’s a fun family build - kids love helping put it together and racing their tokens against adults. It’s a simple, hands‑on project that turns into a great little bonding moment without feeling like a chore

The Token Run is built with clean tolerances, smooth drop angles, reliable clip‑fit geometry, and interchangeable components. Every part is designed for easy printing, easy assembly, and long‑term durability.

This base unit is the core platform that all future expansions and theme packs connect to.

3MF: Finishing line sign and the scoreboard - With named bodies for easy colour assignment
STL Files: The complete drag strip itself - rails, connectors, finishing line body/landing cup, token spectator area & speed-boost corners for the token run (Some items are printed more than once)
Multi-layer STL: The rear leg - the drag strip sign is multi-layer there is also an optional multi-layer scoreboard.

ASSEMBLY - Easy Drag Strip Assembly Guide

1. Attach the Drag Strip Spectator Starting Line Block: Remove the front leg of the Token Run - slot onto the bottom of your Token Run where the catcher normally sits. It snaps into place with the same clip‑fit geometry - no glue needed. There is also a centre block that connects the two spectator areas together

2. Add the Drag Strip name: Replace the token runs rear legs - there is also a bracing arm included which goes between to two top signs of the token runs

3. Clip on the Speed‑Boost Corners: Attach the upgraded radius corners to the ends of the straight rails on your token runs. These corners guide the tokens smoothly and increase speed.

4. Add the Straight Rails Choose your race length: Use the provided blocks if connecting two rails

Two rails for a longer run

5. Add the Score Slider: Clip the slide onto the numbered block and slot it into it's place - move it between 1–5 to track race results.

6. Connect the Finishing line Body/Landing Cup: The curve leads directly into the winner’s slot and this is all one piece. Connect the rails in to the designated slots each side.

7. Add your finishing line sign topper: Slot the legs on to the sign and then slot on to the Finishing line Body/Landing Cup

DIMENSIONS & PRINTER REQUIREMENTS

Print Bed Size: Suitable for most standard bed sizes
Layer Height: 0.2 mm (best balance of speed + detail) • 0.16 mm for extra‑clean ramps or sign text
Walls/Perimeters: 2–3 walls - 0.2 or 0.4 mm Nozzle
Infill: 15–20% Grid or Gyroid
Material: PLA (perfect for toys, bright colours, no warping) - PETG works but is less crisp for snap‑fit parts
Supports: No Supports or minimal supports for the multi-layered version of the scoreboad and the rails if you feel it's needed
